8 Day - London, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon & Windsor Tour, UK (using pre-purchased tickets for public transport)

This tour has been designed using trains (public transport) to get to the various destinations outside of London. The train tickets will be purchased in advance of you arriving into the UK and are a cheap way of getting around the countryside. You will be issued with final details, which are step by step instructions of using public transport, making this option a cheap and easy way of visiting the countryside. Please refer to our testimonial page where we are commended for our final details, to give you reassurance that using the train will be stress free! We can also arrange for a driver to take you if you would prefer this option.

Day One – London
Arrive into Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and take the Airport Express Train into central London and on arrival check-in at your centrally located hotel for 7 nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your flight. 

Day Two – Open Top Bus Tour of London – Thames River Cruise – London
After breakfast take an Open Top Bus tour of the London to view the major sights and there will be an opportunity to stop along the way and visit the various attractions of your choice. Your ticket also includes a cruise on the River Thames and an optional walking tour.

Day Three – Bath – Roman Baths & Pump Room - London
Take a train from London to the beautiful Georgian City of Bath.  On arrival take the short walk for a visit to the Roman Baths, the best preserved Roman religious Spa from the ancient world. This will be followed by some leisure time to independently explore the city. Late afternoon take the return train to London.

Day Four – Stratford-upon-Avon – Open Top Bus tour of Stratford-upon-Avon – Shakespeare Properties – London
After breakfast take a train to Stratford-upon-Avon, the Birthplace of William Shakespeare for an Open Top Bus Tour, taking in the various Shakespeare properties and there will be an opportunity to stop and visit the houses. Late afternoon take the return train to London.

Day Five – Windsor Castle – London
Take the train from London to Windsor for a visit to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and the Official Residence of Her Majesty The Queen, and its rich history spans almost 1000 years. Late afternoon take the return train to London.

Day Six – Hampton Court Palace – London
Take the train to Hampton Court Palace for a visit, where over 800 years of history can be explored through this magnificent palace, whose previous owners include Cardinal Wolsey, Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.  The most impressive sight is the Great Hall, England’s last and greatest medieval hall, decorated with sumptuous tapestries. Return to London mid afternoon for the remainder of the day at leisure for independent sightseeing.

Day Seven – London Eye - London
The morning is at leisure in London for independent sightseeing.  Late afternoon take a trip on the London Eye, the world's largest observation wheel offering a spectacular way to take in over 55 of London's most famous landmarks.

Day Eight – Home
Take the Express Train back to the airport for your return flight home.
