6 Day - Theatre Tour of England, UK

Day One - Shakespeare's Globe Theatre - London
Enjoy a morning visit to the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre for a backstage theatre tour that offers a fascinating introduction to the world-famous Globe Theatre and life in Shakespeare's London. On then to discover Elizabethan Bankside, the city of London's playground, see a sword-fighting display, find out how actors are dressed in handmade costumes and take a tour of today's working theatre - brought vividly to life by one of the story-teller guides. This will be followed by lunch in the Globe Restaurant before attending a matinee theatre performance. Evening is at leisure.

Day Two - Theatre Museum - West End Theatre- London
Today visit the Theatre Museum which features British Theatre from Shakespeare's day to present. This will be followed by a backstage tour of the Theatre Royal, the home of "Miss Saigon". The history is brought to vivid life as key characters, writers and actors from the theatre's 300 year old past take you back through time as you look around this famous theatre. In the evening enjoy a pre-theatre dinner, followed by a performance at a West End Theatre.

Day Three - Roman Bath & Pump Room - Theatre Royal - Bath
Depart London for the journey to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath. On arrival enjoy a visit to the Roman Baths and Pump Room, the best preserved Roman religious Spa from the ancient world. Enjoy some free time before a pre-theatre dinner, followed by an evening performance at the Theatre Royal.

Day Four - Cotswolds - Afternoon Tea - Royal Shakespeare Theatre - Stratford-upon-Avon
Depart Bath for a tour of the lovely honey stone coloured Cotswolds villages to include time for browsing in the quaint shops and a traditional English afternoon tea. Check-in at your hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon before an evening theatre performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Day Five - Shakespeare's Birthplace - Anne Hathaway's Cottage - Heathrow Airport
Today enjoy a Shakespeare Tour to include a visit to Shakespeare's Birthplace, a half timbered house, where Shakespeare was born in 1564 and includes a fascinating insight into life as it was when Shakespeare was a child. This will be followed by a visit to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, a picturesque thatched cottage and childhood home of Shakespeare's wife. Enjoy some free time for shopping before taking the return journey to London and on arrival check-in at your hotel located near Heathrow Airport.

Day Six - Airport Transfer
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
